Under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), Quetta Mass Transit Light Rail Project is planned to be implemented. The project covers a rail track of 48.5 KM from Kuchlak to Spezand and aims at providing quality public transport facility. Key initial assignments are conducting feasibility study and preparation of project PC-1. Planning and Development department, Government of Balochistan-G.O.B seeks services of highly competent and skilled professionals in the following categories.

  • Project Director,
  • Finance Officer,
  • Admin Officer,
  • Office Assistant,
  • Driver,
  • Balochistan Planning and Development Department,
  • China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)

Work Summary: Manages all correspondence within and outside the organization. Records all incoming and out-going letters and documents. process procurement of services and goods Looks after administrative affairs of the Office. Arrange meetings, appointments and receive visitors, place and screen telephone calls and answer queries using discretion; Receive, screen, log and route correspondence, attach necessary background information and maintain follow-up system to ensure timely response by staff; Assist in scheduling, organization, documentation and reporting of meetings; Keep record of files; Safely drive the allotted vehicle during for official duty; Maintain up to date vehicle log books and get it signed by officer in- charge; Present vehicle log book to Admin and Finance section for inspection and audit when asked; Maintain the service and appearance of vehicle; Drive appointed staff to appointments

Qualification: Master degree in civil engineering /transport planning & engineering I railways engineering or related field Experience: minimum 15 years in public sector, railways, transport or related fields Expertise: sound knowledge of government rules and regulations, proficiency in IT use and sector specific knowledge Qualification: ACCA/ CA/ ICMAI ACMA or related field Experience: minimum 10 years on positions related to finance and Accounting Expertise: sound knowledge of government rules and regulations, proficiency in IT use

Qualification: Master degree in Management sciences / MBA(HR) I Public administration or related field Experience: minimum 10 years on positions related to admin Expertise: sound knowledge of government rules and regulations, proficiency in IT use Qualification: Bachelor degree

Experience: minimum 3 years on similar positions
Qualification: Intermediate or equivalent

Experience: 5 years minimum

Responsibility: Supervise project preparation and implementation Review (including technical and financial aspects) feasibility study of the Chinese firm Have project’s feasibility (on behalf of GoB) conducted including procurement of services and goods Have project PC-1 prepared Process all project documents for reviews and approvals
Keep and maintain all project accounts records in soft as well as in hard form. Reconcile the accounts and facilitate auditory process Prepare financial reports
