CAREER OPPORTUNITIES PIA, the national airline of Pakistan, is implementing its focused revival strategy to steer the company on path of growth and success. The airline requires highly experienced, dynamic and passionate professionals with strong operational and commercial acumen for the following positions, to be part of the turnaround strategy of the national carrier:

  • CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER/ DIRECTOR MARKETING,

Educational Qualification:

  • Masters Degree, preferably in Business Administration
  • Preference will be given to candidates having degree/ certifications in Aviation/Airline industry. Work Experience:
  • Minimum 20 years of experience out of which at least 5 years at a senior management position in managing Operations, Training, dealing with Regulatory Authorities & their requirements, Scheduling and day-to-day operational services.
  • Preference will be given to those who have worked in aviation/ airline industry.

Skills Required:

  • Result-oriented approach with skills of negotiation and decision-making.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Devising, formulating and implementing strategies in planning and execution of decisions.
  • Ability to devise short and long term strategies to achieve goals.
  • Adaptability to rapid changes and ability to respond to them promptly and adequately.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 20 years of work experience out of which at least 5 years in senior management position(s), preferably dealing Operational Services, Customer Services, Marketing, Sales, Brand Management, hospitality services and may be in Supply Chain Management.
  • Preference will be given to those who have worked in aviation/ airline industry. Skills Required: ■ Result-oriented approach with skills of negotiation and decision-making.

  • Devising, formulating and implementing strategies in planning and execution of decisions.
  • Ability to devise short and long term strategies to achieve goals.

PAY PACKAGE: Market based compensation will be offered to the selected candidates.

AGE LIMIT: Maximum 57 Years as on 31-03-2017, for both positions.

NOTE: The selected candidates will be given employment on contract basis for a period of two (02) years, extendable, based on performance and with mutual consent.
