CAREER OPPORTUNITY Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director

Our client, a 100% government owned oil and gas entity, engaged in implementing capital intensive projects of strategic national importance and provides management professionals with a high level of visibility and growth opportunities. Currently, our client is looking for a high caliber professional as Managing Director with a demonstrable record of successfully leading a company or a division of large size and complexity, considerable skill and experience, and motivation to make a positive difference in a sector critical to Pakistan’s economy.
Candidates should possess the following attributes:

Qualification: Graduate from a recognized University. Additional professional qualification relevant to the management and control of large commercial organizations with experience in Oil, Gas and Petrochemical business shall be preferred. Experience: Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience is a pre-requisite out of which at least 10 years should be in a senior management role. Candidate should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the dynamics of the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical industry. Age: Age on July 1, 2017, should not be above 60 years.

  • The candidate shall be appointed in accordance with the Public Sector Companies (Appointment of CEO) Guidelines, 2015 (the Guidelines) and Public Sector Companies (Corporate Governance) Rules, 2013 and must fulfill the Fit and Proper Criteria laid down in the Guidelines (Necessary details and forms are available on www.hrsglobal.com/advertisement
  • The position is based in Islamabad.
  • Selected candidate will be offered a three (3) years contract (extendable) with a market based compensation package and other perks & privileges commensurate with experience.
  • Qualified and experienced expatriate Pakistanis may also apply.

Ability to engage effectively with public institutions, stakeholders and joint venture partners.
